Aufgaben:

Die Tätigkeit umfasst den Service, Probemessungen, Gerätedemonstrationen und
die Applikationsunterstüzung für unsere Projekte für unsere Projekte im Bereich
Spektroskopie (UV-VIS, Fluoreszenz, FT/IR, Polarimetrie) in unserem Büro in Gross-
Umstadt mit Wirkungskreis Gesamt-Deutschland.

 

Anforderungen:

  • Physikalische, chemische oder technisch-wissenschaftliche Ausbildung
  • Kenntnisse und praktische Erfahrungen in analythischer Chemie und instrumenteller Analytik,
    besonders auf dem Gebiet der optischen Spektroskopie
  • Erfahrung im Umgang mit EDV / Software-Kenntnisse
  • Bereitschaft zu selbstständiger Arbeit
  • sicheres Auftreten und Teamf&aumlhigkeit
  • Flexibilit&aumlt und Reisebereitschaft
  • Englischkenntnisse

Job Description:

Purpose: Spectroscopic Engineer:


The primary duties of the Customer Support Engineer is to install, maintain, verify performance and repair JASCO equipment at customer sites ensuring best-in-class service. Provide scheduled preventative maintenance for contract customers, remedial maintenance for non-contract customers, and all warranty services which apply to our products in the field.

                                   

Responsibilities:


The Customer Support Engineer will also help develop new business through the sale of new service agreements, service agreement upgrades and instrument add-ons to existing contracts. Assist and support local sales representative secure new instrument orders. Contribute to account profitability through billable labor/travel orders, parts orders, support orders, billable install orders, and consumables.
Other responsibilities include maintaining up to date electronic and repair documentation for dispatch, inventory and service support functions of the job. Accountability for assigned company assets to include: Company vehicle, tools, test equipment, telecommunication equipment, personal service parts inventory, etc.

In an effort to continually develop skills the Customer Support Engineer will take an active role in developing technical skills and software skills to maintain and enhance JASCO’s value proposition to the customer. Seek higher level certification through participation in company sponsored training & development initiatives.


Requirements:


We are looking for someone to support our customers using UV/VIS/NIR, FT/IR, Polarimetry and Fluorescence Instrumentation. This person should have deep skills in Optic/Electronic/Mechanical Engineering or experience in Bio-Chemistry or Micro-Biology equipment servicing. Previous experience on Spec instrumentation is expected with current experience in the instrumentation market a plus.
Working knowledge of computer hardware, PC Windows and Microsoft Office is mandatory. You must be a proven self motivated individual and possess a valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
